Daedalic Entertainment and NACON have recently announced The Lord of the Rings Gollum delayed for a few months.
The developers made the announcement on a recent press release they shared online. They started by thanking everyone for their patience and support for the game so far. For several years, the development team had been working hard to share their vision of their unique take of the story in a breathtaking world of Lord of the Rings, which is filled with magic and wonder. They are that dedicated in trying to meet the expectations of the fans and uncover the untold story of Gollum in ways that would honor the vision of the author himself, J.R.R. Tolkien.
So, in order to deliver the best possible experience, the team has now decided to delay the release of the game and push the date by a few months. They have not revealed the exact date, but it is assuring that the delay is only a few months. They will be sharing the new release date in the near future.
This is not the first time that the game gets delayed. It has been quite the norm lately that a game gets delayed to a later time, possibly due to some issues they found along the way, or they just need more time to improve the game.
The Lord of the Rings Gollum will be available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. No official release date yet.
