Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet New Trailer Features a Treasure Hunt

The Pokémon Company has recently released the new Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet trailer that features the school’s independent study project.

According to the video, the school where players enroll in the game at the beginning will be hosting a very special independent study project. The theme of this assignment is A Treasure Hunt where players are encouraged to explore the world and seek out treasure.

Three Stories to Get Involved

In the game, there will be three stories will be included in the adventure while exploring the Paldea region. The Victory Road will have Gyms set in different locations and they will have to visit them to achieve Champion Rank. The Path of Legends will have players partner up with Arven looking for rare ingredients. The last story is Starfall Street where players have to challenge Team Star, a group of delinquents that are making trouble for the school.

All of these stories will be set in an open world filled with Pokémon and people to meet. Look for the right path to take and explore however you want.

New Pokémon Details

There are new Pokémon have been revealed in this new video. They will appear depending on which game the player purchases. Armarouge can be encountered in Pokémon Scarlet and Ceruledge can be encountered in Pokémon Violet.

Armarouge
Armarouge’s set of armor belonged to a distinguished warrior and is the source of the energy used for its Psychic-type moves. It also uses the psychic capabilities of this armor to control the fire energy within its body and unleash attacks.

Klawf
Klawf can rotate their protruding eyeballs to see everything around them, eliminating all their blind spots. They can latch upside down onto cliffs to ambush their prey from above, however, they eventually get dizzy from the blood rushing to their heads, so they cannot stay upside down for very long.

Introducing the Pokémon Scarlet and Pokémon Violet Nintendo Switch OLED

There is also a new Nintendo Switch OLED Model Pokémon Scarlet and Violet Edition, which will launch this coming November 4, 2022. It will feature art inspired by the upcoming games. It has a glossy white dock featuring the Legendary Pokémon Koraidon and Miraidon on the front and a design inspired by the series’ iconic Poké Ball on the back. The back of the console features special illustrations of the three Pokémon players who can choose at the beginning of the game, which are Sprigatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly. The Joy-Con controller pair is scarlet and violet in color featuring the school emblems of the Naranja Academy and Uva Academy.
