CD Projekt RED has recently shared a new update about Cyberpunk 2077’s player numbers since the airing of its Netflix anime show.
A new post was recently on the official Twitter account of Cyberpunk 2077, which says that the game has been getting 1 million players each day on various platforms. It also says that the players comprise new and returning ones who want to have a new experience with the game. They thanked everyone for this second chance in getting more numbers. It seems it is not slowing down at all too since the 1 million player numbers are still continuing.
A few days ago, the numbers of the game on Steam rose to its ultimate high with 85,555 concurrent players. This was on the day that Cyberpunk Edgerunners, the Netflix anime adaptation based on the game, aired. This was also the time when the Edgerunners update was released and players wanted to try out the new features it had like Edgerunners content, the ability to change the look of outfits and weapons, and more. This enticed more players to play the game now.
Hopefully, these numbers will only continue to be steady or better, rise.
Cyberpunk 2077 is now available on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
