One More Level and 505 Games have recently revealed the official Ghostrunner 2 release window.
505 Games recently held Ghostrunner’s second anniversary stream discussing several details including the upcoming sequel Ghostrunner 2. It was revealed that Ghostrunner 2 release window was Q4 2023 with One More Level developers hard at work already. Two representatives from the devs talked about the vision for the sequel revealing that it will be an evolution and not a revolution.
This just means that the sequel will not be making full changes to the core gameplay instead it will still be the same but with more additions. The basics are still the same since it was the key to its success and all they can do now is just add more to it. The developers did say that it will not be just a carbon copy of the original but it will have its own complexities too that would differentiate it from the original.
There was no gameplay or images shown that would give a sneak peek at the sequel, but they did share concept art images. Check them out below:
