It has recently been confirmed that the upcoming video game Hogwarts Legacy is now officially Steam Deck verified.
Avalanche Software Community Manager Chandler Wood recently posted on their Twitter account the good news. They confirmed that the game is now verified on Steam Deck, which is just in time for the release date of February 10, 2023. The announcement also included a screenshot that shows all of the checkmarks that the game is now compatible with the Steam Deck.
According to the screenshot, all of the functionality is accessible when using the default controller configuration on Steam Deck, which is nice. It also shows the Steam Deck controller icons. The in-game interface text is legible on the console, which is very important for players who play on it as sometimes a few games have very tiny text that will be very hard to read in the game. That would be problematic.
Lastly, the game’s default graphics configuration works well on the console. No need for a change of settings just to make it run properly.
Hogwarts Legacy launches on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S this coming February 10, 2023.
