Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 will still feature the same Mary Jane face model.
The latest story trailer for the upcoming video game Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 introduced various cutscenes from the game. It featured familiar faces from the original games, especially Peter Parker, Harry Osborn, and Mary Jane Watson. Some fans have noticed that Mary Jane Watson looked a bit different compared to the original game and speculated that the face model is different in the sequel. This made a lot of noise online which prompted Insomniac Games Director of Community and Marketing James Stevenson to clear this up.
Stevenson posted on his personal Twitter account to clarify the Mary Jane Watson face model rumor. “Nope same face model, same actress,” he finally confirmed. Well, that is one debate to finally close up.
The face model of Mary Jane Watson in both Spider-Man 1 and 2 is Stephanie Tyler Jones. She will be voiced by veteran voice actor Laura Bailey.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
