Extreme Biome Makeover is the first available friendship quest for Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley, and it tasks you with helping her renovate some parts of your valley by adding Candy-themed furniture and landscapes. You’ll likely make a race track for Vanellope’s Sugar Rush Kart too.
Read ahead as we go through the steps and some tips on how to complete the Extreme Biome Makeover quest for Vanellope in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Extreme Biome Makeover Walkthrough (Vanellope Friendship Quest)
Begin the Extreme Biome Makeover by talking to Vanellope, and she’ll give you 10 Candy Seeds to kick off the makeover.
Plant and Harvest Candies
Plant the seeds by digging ten holes with your magic Shovel tool. You can do this anywhere in the valley. After that, water the Candies and harvest them after 1 minute. Once done, give the Candy Cane Sprouts to Vanellope to proceed with the quest.
Place Candy Decorations near Vanellope’s House
The next objective is to decorate a part of your valley to make it look like a candy-themed biome. Vanellope generously provides you with a few extra decorations, but you only need the following furniture to progress through the next objective:
- 5 Candy Cane Trees
- 5 Giant Lollipops
- 50 Deluxe Sugar Cookie Pavement
You can relocate the house and look for a nice spot (preferably in Peaceful Meadow or Dazzle Beach), then place the items that Vanellope gave you, which can be found by heading over to the Furniture Tab and selecting Vanellope’s quest icon above the categories.
After placing the required items, head back and talk to Vanellope in order to proceed with the quest.
How to make the Sugar Rush Kart Replica for Vanellope
Now that the Candy-themed decorations and race track are all set, the next step is to build, or maybe cook a replica of Vanellope’s Sugar Rush Kart. Vanellope will provide the initial ingredients for 1 Sugar Kart Seat, 1 Sugar Kart Tail, and 4 Sugar Kart Wheels, but the rest is up to you to gather and complete each recipe.
The following is a complete list of all the recipes and ingredients needed to make each part of Vanellope’s Sugar Rush Kart Replica:
- Sugar Kart Seat Recipe – 1 Sugar Rush Seat Fudge, 1 Wheat, 1 Milk, 1 Butter
- Sugar Kart Tail Recipe – 1 Sugar Rush Tail Fudge, 1 Wheat, 1 Sugarcane, 1 Butter
- Sugar Kart Wheel – 1 Sugar Rush Wheel Fudge, 1 Wheat, 1 Sugarcane, 1 Egg
After making all the required kart parts, bring them back to Vanellope and proceed with the next objective.
Get the Spare Parts Inside WALL-E’s House
From here, you need to gather 3 Electronic chips and 2 Spare Batteries to make sure that the Kart will power up. Go inside Wall-E’s house and look for the parts lying on the ground. They’re pretty much glittering and located in every corner of the house, so you won’t have trouble finding them.
Ask Remy for the Glue
With all the Sugar Kart Parts on hand, you’ll need to put them back together using glue. However, the objective merely provides you with a hint and highlights all the character icons in your map who you can ask for glue.
The character who has the Glue is Remy. You can bypass talking to everyone else and go straight to Remy, who will hand over the necessary item for the quest called Super Sticky Frosting. After this, head back to Vanellope and turn in the items to complete the Extreme Biome Makeover Friendship quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
