Armored Core 6 S-Rank Rewards: How to Get S-Ranking

You’ll want to aim for S-rank for each mission you complete in Armored Core 6. Every time you complete a mission in the game, you’re given a grade based on how well you did. We made this guide to show you how to get S-Rank rewards in Armored Core 6.

    Armored Core 6 S-Rank Rewards

You get certain rewards when you complete a mission with S-rank. Completing most with an S-Rank give you more money however some missions do reward you with AC parts that you can use to customize your mecha. Your reward for completing all 59 Armored Core 6 missions is The Perfect Mercenary achievement.

It’s important to note that not all 59 missions are available on your first playthrough of Armored Core 6. There are Decision Missions where if you choose one mission, the other mission can’t be played for that playthrough. It’ll take about 3 playthroughs including runs on New Game Plus modes to play all 59 missions of the game. You’ll know you’ve unlocked every mission when you get the “Stargazer” achievement.

So how do you get an S-rank in AC6? Getting S-Rank requires that you complete a mission in record time without retrying from any checkpoint. This also requires completing the mission with minimal damage taken and ammunition consumed. Some missions also require you to defeat specific enemies or complete optional objectives before it can give you an S-Rank.

Here are the specific requirements for getting an S-Rank:

    • No Checkpoints: You’re only allowed one life if you want to complete a mission in S-Rank. Restarting to a checkpoint voids your S ranking. The good news is that you are able to use Restart Mission without quitting if you want to try again.
    • Fast Completion: Completing a mission faster gives you better odds of getting an S-Rank. Aside from the no checkpoints, time is the most important factor into getting an S-Rank. There are missions in AC6 that allow you to just skip past enemies and focus on completing the objective.
    • Minimal Damage: At the end of the mission, you’ll see “Repair Costs” in the results. The lower the cost for repair is, the better the odds you’ll get S-Rank. However, you’re better off focusing on finishing the mission in minimal time as this isn’t as important as other factors in getting an S-Rank.
    • Ammunition Consumed: At the end of the mission, you’ll see “Ammunition Costs” in the results. The lower the cost for ammunition, the better the odds you’ll get S-Rank. However, you’re better off focusing on finishing the mission in minimal time as this isn’t as important as other factors in getting an S-Rank.
    • Special Conditions: Some missions won’t give you an S-Rank until you complete optional missions or defeat enemies that are carrying Combat Logs. You can take note of the optional mission objective because the mission description itself should mention a bonus pay for performing certain actions.
