THQ Nordic has recently SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake new-gen version release date has been pushed back a bit.
According to the announcement released by THQ Nordic, the new-gen version of this popular video game based on the famous cartoon has been delayed from October 16 to October 23, 2023. It is just a small delay for only a few days.
Players who already own the game can upgrade to the Gen-9 version of the game. Additional updates will be provided via patch:
All platforms (PS4, PS5, XB One, XB X/S, PC):
- New Feature – Photo Mode! Apply one of 19 different filters to enhance your pictures.
- New Costumes
– New costume “King Doubloon” for collecting all doubloons is now available.
– New costume “Plush Gary” for unlocking all awards is now available. - Fixed a rare bug where saving stopped working.
- Fixed a bug where the playtime did not pause while on a loading screen.
- Many general bug fixes to improve stability and playability of the game.
PlayStation5 only:
- Improvements
– Support of DualSense controller audio output when picking up items.
– Support of DualSense adaptive triggers when using reef blower and swinging hook actions.
SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is now development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and now available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
