Rockstar Games’ classic Western epic, Red Dead Redemption, is finally making its way to PC this October 29, bringing with it the Undead Nightmare expansion. PC gamers can saddle up as John Marston and experience his iconic story for the first time in glorious high definition, complete with a host of PC-specific enhancements.

Developed in collaboration with Double Eleven Studios, this release boasts features that will please even the most demanding gunslingers. Expect native 4K resolution support at a buttery-smooth 144hz refresh rate on compatible hardware, along with ultrawide (21:9) and super ultrawide (32:9) monitor support. HDR10 support will bring the game’s environments to life with vibrant colors and deep blacks.

PC players will also enjoy enhanced graphics options including:

    • Upscaling technologies: NVIDIA DLSS 3.7 and AMD FSR 3.0 support for boosted performance.
    • NVIDIA DLSS Frame Generation: For even smoother gameplay.
    • Adjustable draw distances: See the vast landscapes of the American West stretch out before you.
    • Enhanced shadow quality settings: Immerse yourself in the game’s atmospheric world.
    • Full keyboard and mouse support: Tailor your controls for precision aiming and gunplay.

A new trailer showcasing the PC version has been released, giving players a glimpse of the enhanced visuals and features. Pre-purchase details will be announced later this week, with the game available on the Rockstar Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store.

Red Dead Redemption and Undead Nightmare are currently available on Nintendo Switch, PS4, and Xbox.
