Microsoft and ASUS have announced that pre-orders for the ROG Xbox Ally and ROG Xbox Ally X are now available in 38 countries, ahead of the official launch on October 16, 2025.
The announcement was made through Xbox Wire, confirming that both handheld gaming devices can now be pre-ordered through the Microsoft Store, ASUS eShop, and select retail partners.
The ROG Xbox Ally and Ally X are designed to combine ASUS’ hardware with the flexibility of Windows and the Xbox ecosystem, giving players access to their library of Xbox and PC games, cloud gaming, and Remote Play features in a portable form factor.
The ROG Xbox Ally X is priced at $999.99, while the standard ROG Xbox Ally is available for $599.99. Pre-orders in the United States opened on September 25 at 5:00 p.m. PT.

In addition to the hardware launch, ASUS will host a pre-order sweepstakes in the U.S. from September 25 to October 11, where customers can win an accessory bundle when purchasing either device during the pre-order period.
Both handhelds will launch globally on October 16, 2025.
