Developer FuturLab has announced that PowerWash Simulator 2 will officially launch on October 23, 2025 for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. The sequel to the popular cleaning sim will introduce a range of new features, including expanded multiplayer, a deeper career mode, and even feline companions.
The announcement was accompanied by a new release date trailer, which sets the stage for players’ first day on the job as professional power washers.
PowerWash Simulator 2 builds on the original’s success with a variety of new gameplay elements designed to expand and refine the experience. The game will support both split-screen and online multiplayer, allowing players to clean solo, with a partner locally, or with up to four players online — all with shared progression.
New mobility tools such as abseiling and scissor lifts allow players to tackle vertical surfaces and rooftops from multiple angles, while multi-stage jobs will dynamically expand as progress is made, revealing new areas to clean mid-mission.
A new career mode features 38 jobs spread across increasingly bizarre and satisfying locations — from retro roller discos and campfire sites to mining trucks and an oversized novelty teapot. Players can also customize their home base, restore furniture, and decorate their headquarters between jobs.
Additional upgrades include new washer nozzles, surface cleaners, and soap types, along with the return of Ulysses the cat and her kittens, who follow players on jobs and can be interacted with throughout.
PowerWash Simulator 2 will launch worldwide on October 23, 2025, offering more tools, more locations, and more grime to blast away across the fictional Caldera County.
