AdHoc Studio has announced that its critically acclaimed superhero workplace comedy Dispatch is coming to Nintendo Switch on January 28, with support confirmed for both Nintendo Switch 1 and Nintendo Switch 2.
The Switch release introduces a portable way to experience Dispatch, allowing players to take their team of reformed supervillains on the go. AdHoc Studio also confirmed that players who purchase the game on Nintendo Switch will receive a free upgrade on Nintendo Switch 2, featuring visual enhancements including up to 60fps and 1440p resolution, compared to 30fps and 720p on the original hardware.
Alongside the Nintendo announcement, AdHoc Studio revealed that Dispatch will be discounted as part of upcoming holiday sales. The game joins the Steam Winter Sale starting December 18, followed by PlayStation Store holiday promotions on December 22, with a 10% discount available on both platforms.
Dispatch casts players as Robert Robertson, also known as Mecha Man, a former superhero whose mech suit was destroyed in battle. Now working a desk job, Robert runs a rehabilitation program for ex-supervillains, assigning missions, managing clashing personalities, and dealing with office drama — all while trying to rebuild his suit and confront his old nemesis.
Since launching in October, Dispatch has quickly become one of the standout releases of 2025. The game has already surpassed two million copies sold and currently holds 98% positive user reviews on Steam, a 4.96/5 rating on the PlayStation Store, and an 89 Metascore.
Dispatch is available now on PC and PS5. The game launches on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2 on January 28.
