Game publisher Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and developer IO Interactive officially announced the new sequel to the Hitman series: Hitman 2.

Hitman 2 will not be episodic

Unlike the first title of the first Hitman reboot, the sequel will not be episodic anymore. IO Interactive will still provide a lot of post-launch content for the fans of the franchise. They also promised more intricate sandbox levels for players to enjoy in the new game. There will be new different ways to infiltrate a mission and more methods to assassinate targets.

Publisher thrilled to work with IO Interactive

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment president David Haddad said that they are thrilled to partner with the developers on the new sequel. He praised the developers on their development of the franchise and hints that the new game will give players new gameplay experience.

IO Interactive CEO Hakan Abrak promised that the game will have more content than ever before. They will introduce new features, new mode, and a larger game.

The game will be available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. It will launch on Nov. 13.
