Game company Sony Interactive Entertainment recently started to recruit beta testers for the upcoming PlayStation 4 system software update 6.0.

Sony is currently recruiting some beta testers for the next major system software update for the PS4. The registrations have currently started for the Japanese and North American PlayStation Networks only. Most likely, the European PSN will get the registrations soon.
For the North American PSN, the eligible period for registration is between July 19 and July 27. The PSN members that will be selected will be contacted at a later date.
There is no word on what the contents of the next major update will be. The recent version, 5.50, added several welcome features like supersampling mode, teams, and other improvements.
