Game developer Ys Net announced that the crowdfunding campaign for Shenmue III has reached $7 million with its Kickstarter and Slacker Back campaigns combined. They have also unlocked a new expansion.
Shenmue III gets new expansion for battle system
Ys Net revealed that with the success of their campaigns, they have unlocked the AI Battling expansion to the game’s battle system. This new control system allows players to unleash the perfect technique in response to the opponent’s positioning and distance. This is actually based on Yu Suzuki’s concept for players who are not used to fighting games or for those who want a full immersion battle experience.
Toy Capsule Box Set revealed
Aside from the new battle system inclusion, Ys Net revealed a new limited edition for the video game. It is now available for order via Fangamer. The Toy Capsule Box Set includes several capsule toys that will appear in the game and more. This will include Ryo, Shenhua, Chai, or the Forklift.
The game will launch next year. It will available on PlayStation 4 and PC.
