Voice actor Ben Schwartz recently posted on social media that Sonic the Hedgehog Movie 2 is officially happening with the release date.
According to Scwartz who seems to be visiting a theater, the sequel to the most successful video game adaptation to film is finally happening, but it will not be soon. He revealed that it will be coming to theaters on April 8, 2022 if there are no delays to it.
The sequel will have filmmakers Director Jeff Fowler and Script Writers Pat Casey and Josh Miller returning. Last May, it was revealed that it was still in its development stages, but with this announcement, it seems to be moving on now.
