Game Producer Keita Iizuka and Director Kenji Anabuki share the improvements of upcoming video game Scarlet Nexus in the Official PlayStation Magazine (December 2020 issue) with the power of the PlayStation 5 and its features.
Iizuka and Anabuki revealed that the game takes advantage of the PS5’s super-fast SSD, which ensures load times are cut. This results on players never been removed from its world. Both executives agree that the “shortened loading times are really a big charm of these next-gen machines.” This is especially true with RPGs since the sense of immersion is emphasized and with the PS5’s feature, players can enjoy all of the action without any interruptions.
The PS5 also offers super detailed anime-style characters and ultra-smooth action with no drop in framerate at all.
Iizuka and Anabaki explains:
In order to let players experience realistic psychokinetic action in Scarlet Nexus, the maps’ graphics are designed to have a more realistic tone, while having a visual style with anime and realism naturally blended into one.
Scarlet Nexus is coming to PlayStation 5 and PS4 sometime in 2021.
