Game studio Crystal Dynamics has revealed the 2021 Content Roadmap for video game Marvel’s Avengers and its important details.

After all the lessons they have learned from previous issues, Crystal Dynamics is proud to announce their new roadmap for 2021 and what lies ahead. While it shows a lot of details, it does not include everything they are planning for this year.

The developers are now focusing on delivering new content that will be compelling to play and replay again while offering better rewards. There will be more content to offer, expanding the Avengers Initiative. There will be more choices to take on. They noted that this roadmap’s contents could change depending on the development this year, but they are feeling confident that it will be completed.

For the Tachyon Anomaly, this will be the Tachyon Rift missions that will appear a lot often. It will be scaled for Power levels 1-100 so more players can experience them and have event-specific rewards.

With this event, players are able to play multiple of the same hero in the Avengers Initiative. They can play four Iron Men or Hulks in one mission if they want.

The Red Room Takeover offers a new unique HARM Room with new content and outfits.

Monica becomes the new Scientist Supreme in her own Villain Sector. This will feature a new battle where players must confront the unchecked power of the Cosmic Cube.

The Wasteland Patrol is a new Patrol Mode mission type that allows players to explore the largest War Zone area to date. They can also complete quests and earn rewards without being limited to a mission. They can explore all they want in this mode.

Black Panther was revealed during the Square Enix Presents digital event and it is coming in 2021. It will come with new villains like Klaw, a new enemy Faction, the Wakandan Jungle Biome, a new Outpost, a Power Level cap increase, and lots more content. This is going to be the biggest content drop since launch.

Crystal Dynamics is currently tuning combat, gear, and matchmaking. There are going to be more patches to be released and it will have more features to add like the ability to use the directional pad in menus.

The Omega-Level Threat missions are still being worked on despite known to be working. They are still trying to find issues, bugs, and anything else they could find before they will release it. They are also working on post-level-50 progression, new outfits, and multiplayer Megahives.

Marvel’s Avengers is now available on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
