Remember the Saw and Texas Chainsaw Massacre skins last year? It seems there will be new customizations coming to Call of Duty Warzone and they involve awesome 90s action stars!
For those who were born before or in the 80s era, they would have idolized great actors like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Silvester Stallone, and Bruce Willis. Well, if you play COD Warzone, this might be your chance to be one of your action star idols in the form of skins.
The official Twitter account of the franchise recently posted this:
Those “5 games” obviously mean the five Rambo movies and the Survivor John gamertag is a reference to the full name John Rambo, a survivor of the few wars he is involved in. The other stats I have not figured out yet, but it is probably in direct reference to some facts in the movie series.
The next Twitter post is this:
The caption in the image says “Nakatomi Duct Cleaning,” which is in direct reference to the building where John McClane was trapped in and he got through the floors through the air ducts. He also says the line “Yippee Ki Yay,” which also appears on the image. It is too obvious so there is that.
Every fan of 80s action film of the will be familiar with all of these references and from the posts, it is most probably Activision is going to drop content in direct relation to that. With the launch of Verdansk 1984, it is the prefect timing to release some awesome skins related to these cool action stars.
Call of Duty Warzone is now available on PC, PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
Update: ALERT, ALERT! Rambo just got confirmed and he will be dropped on May 20!
