Cris Tales Decision Making Only Affects Characters and Kingdoms

EVP of Production at Modus Games and Lead Producer Derek Neal recently shared some important information about the upcoming video game Cris Tales.

According to Neal, the decisions that players will make throughout the game will only affect characters, sidequests, and the kingdoms. He clarified that the main story will remain unchanged despite the many choices the player makes.

There will be side content that will be available in certain branches only. It will be gone if the choice made is not correct. One example given was of saving a NPC called Noah. If not saved, the next side quest will not be available and the character will permanently die.

Decisions will affect the kingdoms in a major way, but the main course of the story will continue on.

Cris Tales launches on July 20 for PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
