The newest character to be added into the roster of The King of Fighters XV is the story boss of previous game KOFXIV, Antonov with a new trailer.
Antonov started off in KOFXIV as the story’s final boss and was injured during that time. It seems he has already recovered and already back on his feet, big biceps and all. He also got a makeover with a better look this time around.
KOFXV’s Antonov is still the same old Antonov, all melee, muscle, wrestling moves, and jump dives. He looks pretty capable here now though, but still showy like his previous version. Also, he still smokes cigars.
With his arrival, Antonov, Ramon, and The King of Dinosaurs make up for the Team Galaxy Anton Wrestling or Team G.A.W. for short.
With the addition of Antonov, there are now 27 characters in The King of Fighters XV, which will launch in the first quarter of 2022. It will be released on PlayStation 4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
