Apex Legends Unshackled Event New Skins, Rewards, and Flashpoint LTM

Apex Legends Unshackled event is going live and brings with it a new set of skins to purchase, rewards to earn, and game modes to compete in. This is the second event to drop on Season 12 of Apex Legends and with the Warriors Collection event now just a memory we now have new things to do and not a second to waste.

This article will list everything that’s new in the Apex Legends Unshackled event including the start and end date, the latest skins to purchase, and the Flashpoint LTM.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event Start Time and Date

The Apex Legends Unshackled event will start around 10 AM PDT on April 19, 2022. The event is scheduled to go a little over two weeks from April 19th to May 3rd.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event Regional Start Times:

• 10 AM PDT
• 1 PM EDT
• 5 PM UTC
• 7 PM CST

There are different rewards you can earn divided between half of the duration the Unshackled event is supposed to take place in. From April 19th to 26th, you can earn the first set of rewards. And from April 26th to May 3rd, the other half of rewards will be available to earn. More details on the Unshackled event rewards below.

Apex Legends Unshackled Event Download Size

The Unshackled event was 471.2 MB on the PS4. The download size may vary depending on your platform but it shouldn’t go beyond one gigabyte.

Apex Legends Unshackled Flashpoint Limited Time Mode

Respawn Entertainment has brought back Flashpoint as a Limited Time Mode in Apex Legends. It hasn’t been seen since October 2020 so it’s been more than two years since we’ve been able to play it out.

The Flashpoint LTM will take place in Olympus and all healing items have been removed. Instead you heal via “Flashpoint Zones” which are large areas in the map that restore your health. However these zones are available for all Legends so you’ll have to face competition if you want to restore your health.

Apex Legends Unshackled Rewards

The Apex Legends Unshackled event divides the rewards you can earn into two separate timeframes. You’ll have a different set of rewards to unlock during the first half of the event and will rotate to the second batch of rewards during the last half. You earn these rewards by completing challenges specific to the Flashpoint LTM.

Rewards from April 19th to 26th:

• Epic RE-45 skin
• Epic Seer skin

Rewards from April 26th to May 3rd:

• Unique Badge
• Rare Apex Pack
• Epic Boxing Nessie Holospray
• Unshackled Pack

Apex Legends Unshackled New Skins

Apex Legends Unshackled brings 40 cosmetic skins themed around the event. These skins will be placed in bundles which you can buy for a reduced price.

Cosmetic items can be bought using crafting metals or Apex Coins. If you’re willing to wait, the cost of crafting metals for these cosmetics will be reduced after two seasons. During the event, the Unshackled cosmetics will cost as far as 2,400 crafting metals.

You can receive these cosmetic skins via the Unshackled Event packs during the event. The Unshackled packs will only be available for a limited time and will cost 400 Apex Coins. However they can be received from the standard Apex Packs even after the event ends.
