The first quarter of 2025 was packed. The release of Monster Hunter Wilds, Kingdom Come Deliverance II, Split Fiction, Civilization VII, Assassin’s Creed: Shadows, and a few more have kept most of us busy! With Q2 2025 of game releases, it looks a bit calmer. It’s in June when huge announcements start, but that doesn’t mean games coming out from April to June won’t catch your attention, because some might!
April won’t be making waves like in February, but here are the games that the team is really excited for this month!

Commandos: Origins

I’ve always remembered years back playing Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines and its stand-alone expansion Commandos: Beyond the Call of Duty, where I had to wisely sneak across the map to complete objectives in its amazing 2.5D visuals. Commandos: Origins is the highly anticipated return of the classic real-time tactics series. Players will once again lead a squad of elite commandos on challenging missions behind enemy lines during World War II. Expect intricate planning and stealth gameplay.
Coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on April 9, 2025.
Tempest Rising

It’s been a while since we have gotten a real-time strategy game inspired by classics such as Red Alert and StarCraft, and Tempest Rising leans more on Westwood’s Command & Conquer franchise. The overall user interface and menus pay homage to Red Alert fans, and we can’t wait to play Tempest Rising when it releases this month.
Coming to PC on April 24, 2025.
Steel Seed

This is a single-player stealth-action adventure game set in a hostile, machine-dominated world. You play as Zoe, accompanied by a flying drone, as you navigate dangerous environments and fight robotic enemies.

Indiana Jones and the Great Circle (PS5)

Developed by MachineGames, this first-person action-adventure game puts you in the shoes of the legendary archaeologist Indiana Jones. Set between Raiders of the Lost Ark and The Last Crusade, it promises thrilling exploration, puzzle-solving, and combat. While it’s already available on Xbox Series X|S and PC last year in December, it’s finally launching on PS5 this month.

Days Gone Remastered

Initially released on the PS4, Bend Studios’ open-world zombie apocalypse game is getting a remaster. While we’re wondering why Sony decided to give Days Gone a remaster treatment, we’re still excited to see the changes and improvements.
Coming to PS5 on April 25, 2025.
Forza Horizon 5 (PS5)

Previously an Xbox and PC exclusive, this is the first Forza game making its way to the PS5, allowing PlayStation players to experience its stunning Mexican landscapes and exhilarating driving.
