Atomic Heart Devs Says Creating New IP Biggest Hurdle to Overcome

The whole development process is comparable to one huge computation.

Mundfish developers share their greatest hurdle in creating Atomic Heart.

In an interview with Mundfish Founder and Game Director Robert Bagratuni with media outlet Wccftech, he revealed the most challenging hurdle the team had to overcome in creating the game.

Bagratuni explained that it would be difficult to look for the most challenging hurdle the team had to face during development since in every stage, there are many challenges. He also noted that making a new IP is an extremely ambitious task, which means it is very challenging to do. He compared the whole development process like a very huge equation where variable A is multiplied by B, B gets multiplied by C, and so on and so forth.

Each variable has a value of binary, which can either be zero or one. If one variable is zero and the other is one, then the end result is zero. This is not how the calculations should go. To make all “variables” one, the developers will have to work hard to make them all work properly like better optimization, a strong narrative, and more. Each variable needed to be done properly, which could also be the reason Mundfish had to prolong the development to four years since its first announcement in May 2018.
