The Hidden Clan is the twenty-third chapter in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. After talking to Nor and learning about the Kame’tire’s expertise in healing, the young Sarentu searched the Clouded Forest for the Kame’tire in the hopes that they could help heal Alma and the rest of the wounded Resistance members. Read ahead as we go through the events of The Hidden Clan in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora and share some tips on how to complete the chapter.
Talk with Nor upstairs at the rear entrance of the Resistance Hideout
Make it out of the main hideout building and use the lift tools to go up the upper levels of the Giant’s Bane. You will find Nor at the mouth of the Rear Entrance. Talk to him about the Kame’tire, and he will tell you that the rumors about them being aggressive towards strangers are not true. He also shares that he and his father used to travel to their camp, as they are known to be great healers. Nor then tells you how to reach Kame’tire’s camp.
Go to the Kame’tire Ancestor’s Rest
Follow the path from the Rear Entrance heading west, and you will eventually arrive at the Kame’tire Ancestor’s Rest; however, you will find that no one is there.
Connect to Eywa at the Ancestor’s Rest to reunite with your ikran
Go inside the cave and connect with the Whispering Greatcap by interacting with its front vine. This will then connect you to Eywa and allow your ikran to fly over the Clouded Forest.
Find the Kame’tire camp from Nor’s memories
You have to look for Kame’tire’s camp with only Nor’s memories to refer to. The Clouded Forest is known to have constant fog, hence its name, but So’lek also warned you about a thick poisonous fog called the yavä’ that you should avoid.
First, fly over the Stone Cloud Valley northwest of the Giant’s Bane and look for the floating mountains. Then look for a landmass by the water. Once you find it, land on the ground, and you will arrive at the Hunter’s Gathering.
Investigate the Hunter’s Gathering for any sign of the Kame’tire
Once you arrive at the camp, look for clues to find out where everyone is and why the camp has been abandoned. Check the basket near the fire pit to get the Woodshaper Waistcloth.
First, inspect the herb rack, then link the clue to the fire pit. This will suggest that Kame’tire was just here recently.
Then, inspect the wooden arm by the wall and link it to the wooden part nearby. This will suggest that an animal scar was disassembled to silence it.
Repair the wildlife scare at the Hunter’s Gathering
Hoping that the sound will attract the Kame’tire back, you decide to repair the wildlife scare. Interact with the part to repair it. Not long after, a Na’vi will come running while catching their breath as they are being chased by a beast.
Defeat the Feral Thanator
The Feral Thanator is a fast beast, and it is relentless with its charges that can knock you back. Use a fast weapon like your shotgun to quickly kill the beast.
Talk to the strange Na’vi at the Hunter’s Gathering
Talk to the Na’vi, and they will say that they have been studying the yavä’ since the beast started hunting them down. They followed the sound of the scare, hence your meeting. You then tell the Na’vi that you need to find the Kame’tire, and they reveal that they are part of the clan. You then ask for their greatest healer, but they say that their tsahik Anufi does not see anyone.
Regardless, you convince the Na’vi, and they point you toward The Hollows, where the Kame’tire live. They also tell you to look for the rock shaped like an ikran’s head as your guide to finding The Hollows. They then reveal that their name is Oluk.
Locate The Hollows
Fly northeast from your location until you find the ikran’s head not too far off and not too high from the distance. Go to the back side of the head, where there is a valley, and you will arrive at The Hollows.
Find the Kame’tire in The Hollows
Go into The Hollows and walk towards their central area. You will then be met by some of the Kame’tire, including Mokasa, the leader, whose tone is not welcoming. He treats you as an impostor to the real Sarentu, who are long gone, and he tells you to leave the place despite pleading for help from their tsahik.
After Mokasa leaves, Sa’ney then tells you to meet her at the Circle of Ancestors as a way to help you.
Meet the Kame’tire hunter at the Circle of Ancestors in The Hollows
Head inside the nearby cave to get into the Circle of Ancestors, then talk to Sa’ney. She then shares that the reason why the Kame’tire became the clan they are known for now is because they failed to heal the Sarentu, and the other clans put the blame on them for letting the entire clan die.
You ask to speak to Anufi hoping that seeing a Sarentu will bring her back. Sa’ney then tells you that she has a place behind the capital should you really want to meet her.
The chapter then concludes and you will be rewarded with the Woodshaper Cape, some Clan Favor towards the Kame’tire, and a skill point.
