How to get the Icy Crystal in Baldur’s Gate 3
The Icy Crystal is a drop from Filro the Forgotten (X:-51, Y:-149) who is a Drow that can be found near the Sussur Tree in the Underdark. He is a hostile encounter and a ranged fighter, plus he may also gain the aid of the Hook Horrors within the fight. After defeating Filro, you can then loot the Icy Crystal from his body.
Alternatively, you can try to sneak past the Hook Horrors and then pickpocket the Icy Crystal from Filro.
How to use the Icy Crystal in Baldur’s Gate 3
Once you have obtained the Icy Crystal and the other two parts, the Icy Metal and the Icy Helve, you can then combine the three parts to create the Mourning Frost Legendary Weapon. Make sure the same character is holding all three parts. The Mourning Frost has a special effect, Heart of Ice, that can deal Frostbite to the target.
