Larian has recently confirmed that upcoming RPG sequel Baldur’s Gate 3 will launch on PC and PS5, but Xbox fans are wondering when their version is coming out.
Baldur’s Gate 3 Release Date Revealed
A statement was released and sent to media outlet Push Square assuring everyone of the studio’s plans for the game’s platforms.
“Right now Larian is planning to release Baldur’s Gate 3 for PC, Mac, GeForce NOW, and PS5,” said the spokesperson. “That said, they don’t have exclusivity and will announce support for additional platforms if and when they’re ready.”
Larian CEO Swen Vincke shared a new post on his Twitter account related to the statement above. “Relax. We still aren’t playing the exclusivity game.”
“The land of Faerûn is under siege by a hostile and otherworldly force known as mind flayers,” said the description of the newest gameplay trailer.
“Their army expands with every brain they infect with parasitic tadpoles, a creature that now wriggles deep within your own mind. You are becoming one of them: a monster feared across many worlds. But as their corruption grows within you, so do mysterious new powers.”

Lastly, Larian Studios has now changed Baldur’s Gate 3’s minimum system requirements. It has now higher requirements than the original.
