Bloodborne Fan Working on PSOne Demake

An Unreal Engine 4 tech artist has recently been working on a project, a Bloodborne PS One Demake, and it is looking good.

While the fans are waiting for the PlayStation 5 update, Unreal Engine 4 Tech Artist and Engineer Lilith Walther is developing her own version of the game, but for PSOne. She is currently showing a lot of clips on her official Twitter account, and it looks promising for fans of the game and the classic console.

This Bloodborne PSX dev thread starts with loading and a proper loading screen! Now that we're hopping between levels I need to write a save and load system that passes data around for proper navigation 🧵 pic.twitter.com/MHhMC1ouUE

Foundation for character customization is set! It will obviously be very scaled back compared to Bloodborne OG but it's still a feature I want to include. Right now the only option is character voice (which you can hear in the attached video), but more will be added later on! pic.twitter.com/vEqfV3JDpx

You can now load maps by entering a load zone. Right now it only supports one entrance per map so multi entrance support is next! pic.twitter.com/JUiSUoecxV

Multi entrance support is in! Check out a playthrough that involves walking in a big circle across two levels to demonstrate. pic.twitter.com/ZiCQfZjuB0

The development is currently on its early stages and no other details have been revealed as of yet. It could be released to be playable on PSOne or via other means. It really looks good for having old-school visuals. Bloodborne is now available for PlayStation 4.
