Remedy Entertainment has announced that the physical editions of CONTROL Resonant are now available worldwide for PS5 and Xbox Series X, giving players a choice between a Standard Edition and a collectible SteelBook Edition.

The physical release follows the game’s digital launch on September 24, 2026. Both editions are available through participating retailers, with the SteelBook Edition offering additional collectibles for fans of Remedy’s supernatural action series.

CONTROL Resonant Physical Editions and Prices

The Standard Edition includes the base game and is priced at $59.99 / €59.99 / £49.99.

    Meanwhile, the SteelBook Edition costs $69.99 / €69.99 / £59.99 and includes:

    • The base game
    • Collectible SteelBook case
    • Three fine art prints
    • Key art poster

Both editions are available for PS5 and Xbox Series X, although regional pricing may vary.

The SteelBook Edition is aimed at players looking for a physical collectible package, with its additional artwork and special packaging distinguishing it from the Standard Edition.

CONTROL Resonant Follows Dylan Faden in Manhattan

CONTROL Resonant is the sequel to Remedy Entertainment’s CONTROL, placing players in the role of Dylan Faden as he confronts a paranatural crisis spreading across a reality-warped Manhattan.

Dylan must master his supernatural abilities and the Aberrant, a shapeshifting melee weapon capable of taking different forms during combat.

The game features powerful enemies, large-scale boss encounters, and a story centered on the growing supernatural threat engulfing the city.

Since its digital release, Remedy says CONTROL Resonant has received a positive response from players and critics, particularly for its world, combat, and storytelling.

Creative Director Mikael Kasurinen thanked fans who have already experienced the game, as well as those who waited for the physical release.

“We couldn’t ask for better fans, and seeing all of the reactions to this game has been a career highlight,” Kasurinen said.

CONTROL Resonant Merchandise Pre-Orders Also Available

Alongside the physical editions, Remedy is collaborating with iam8bit on a collection of CONTROL Resonant merchandise.

The collection includes Corrupted Metro apparel, a Billboard Bumper Stickers Pack, an Atlantis Café Espresso Cup Set, an FBC Magnet Set, and three Federal Bureau of Control propaganda posters.

The posters recreate their in-game counterparts at a 1:1 scale and are printed on 16.5-by-23.3-inch poster stock.

Merchandise pre-orders are available until October 26, 2026, with shipping expected during the first quarter of 2027.

Remedy also confirmed that CONTROL Resonant is coming to Mac later in 2026, with releases planned for Steam and the App Store.

CONTROL Resonant is developed and published by Remedy Entertainment, with Annapurna Pictures serving as a co-financing and co-production partner.

CONTROL Resonant’s Standard and SteelBook physical editions are available now for PS5 and Xbox Series X.
