Devolver Digital has recently announced Cult of the Lamb Relics of the Old Faith, the first major content update for the award-winning game.
Cult of the Lamb Relics of the Old Faith, the first major update will be coming to PC and consoles for free on April 24, 2023. This update will introduce a brand-new post-game storyline in which a mysterious being asks players to conquer revamped crusades, enemies and bosses with help of Relics. These Relics are items that will bestow unique effects upon the Lamb, enhancing combat in a multitude of different ways. Conduct Sermons to unlock new Relics and keep track of them in the Relic Book as players uncover mysterious new lore concerning The Three Ducks.
Aside from the addition of a new post-game storyline, there are combat improvements that come in the form of Heavy Attacks. This will enable the Lamb to embark on deeper and more challenging expeditions. Players will have to combine all of their new skills to take on tougher enemies that have stronger attacks.
There is also new content to enjoy like assigning a Follower to do the meal prep for players in the Kitchen, cooking up to 30 meals for the community. There is also the Shared Shelters feature that can house up to 3 Followers. There is also a new Crypt to store corpses, and the Farm Plot Signs that will use the Lamb’s powers of suggestion to encourage Followers to organize their crops.
Followers will continue to evolve into new and unusual forms with the new update including badgers, penguins, raccoons, and more.
Cult of the Lamb is out now on PC, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
