How to find Iron Ore
Iron Ore is usually mined from ore nodes in depths of between 50m to 130m. The iron ore deposits are light grey in color, looking like a huge chunk of coal. Iron Ore nodes are abundant within the Limestone Cave biome.
It can be mined using a melee weapon getting an average of 3 ores per node, although using a pickaxe will double the amount of ore obtained in every strike, so it is best to take a trip to the depths first where pickaxes can be obtained.
