Dead Island 2 doesn’t have much in the way of variety when it comes to side content. But the few types that they do have fit the setting of a world gone to Hell and a handbasket. The safe deposit boxes are a side objective where you’ll need to find 5 keys scattered throughout the Halperin Hotel and bring them back to the lobby to open some safe deposit boxes. Hey, those poor sobs don’t have much use for the contents anymore.
This guide will tell you where you can find all the safe deposit box keys in the Halperin Hotel, as well as their contents. Be prepared, it’s not that amazing but it’s still worth knowing especially if you really want to open all of the boxes.
All Safe Deposit Box Key Locations in Halperin Hotel
Safe Deposit Key #09 – On the folding table in the middle of the Halperin Hotel’s Lobby.
Safe Deposit Key #14 – This key is located in Room 208 of the Halperin Hotel, past the flames. It can easily be missed considering it is on the ground away from the critical path.
Safe Deposit Key #33 – You’ll be able to find this key in the middle of the blood and gore of an elevator on the 200s floor. You’ll need to summon the elevator first and may have to fight off some zombies before picking it up.
Safe Deposit Key #49 – This key can be found in a side vent away from the critical path above the 300s floor. Just before going to where the Major is located.
Safe Deposit Key #53 – This key can be found near the command center inside Room 307. It should be inside the bathroom in the connecting room from where the Major met her unfortunate end.
