Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Missing: Laura Lost & Found quest in Dead Island 2.

How to start the Missing: Laura Lost & Found quest?

Go to Serling Hotel where you can grab the Missing: Laura Lost & Found quest by the wall of missing people. This quest will appear once the main story campaign has been completed and the missing people board has an available slot for the quest.

Step 1: Go to the Police Station

Travel to Venice Beach and go to the Police Station. In there, look through the window on the right and you will find a maglock panel. Shoot it with your weapon and it will unlock the door to the restroom up ahead. Kill the ambushing zombie from the restroom, then look to the top left wall inside the restroom to find the next panel. Shoot this one too to unlock the door to the next area of the station. Go to the locked door on the far right to proceed.

Based on the journal entries, the key is being held by Police Chief Malloy and he was last seen at Venice Hot Dogs. Make your way northeast to the store then go inside its kitchen to find Malloy. Kill him and you will get the Jail Key Cell 01.
