Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2022 is in full swing. And despite a slow, buggy start, we have some pretty neat weapons to grind for. Of course, there’s the heavily featured Mechabre Sniper Rifle. That one’s getting quite a bit of attention. And there are the returning weapons – the Braytech Werewolf Auto Rifle, Horror Story Auto Rifle, and the Jurassic Green Pulse Rifle. Additionally, the Braytech Werewolf and the Jurassic Green both are out outfitted with the new “Search Party” Origin Perk.
In this guide, we’ll tell you how to gather Spectral Pages to turn into Manifested Pages and how you can turn those in for event weapons.
The event weapons can be acquired by completing Haunted Sectors via random drops. To get more weapon drops, you’ll need to transform Spectral Pages into Manifested Pages. Doing so increases the number of weapon drops at the end of the activity.
How to Get Spectral Pages
Spectral Pages are acquired by completing activities while a Festival of the Lost mask. These include but are not limited to:
Public events (Random world events or others like Altars of Sorrow)
How to Farm Event Weapons
Now that we know how to get Spectral Pages, let’s get to work converting them into Manifested Pages. This can be done during the Haunted Sector activity.
To convert the Spectral Pages, you’ll need to kill Headless Ones. Each kill transforms a page each time and that’s your key to getting more weapons. But there’s a limit to this. There are only 15 Headless Ones per Haunted Sector instance. So, at the end of the activity, the most you can get are 15 Manifested Pages.
There are 10 Headless Ones that appear before the final boss spawns. Once the event timer starts, you have 5 minutes to summon and slay all 10 Headless Ones. If you kill them all quickly, you’ll have to wait the rest of the time until the boss spawns. Otherwise, you’ll be starting the final fight with less than 10 kills.
Assuming you have all 10 kills, the worst you can end the activity is with 12 Manifested Pages. Your team needs to kill Headless Ones to make use of the bombs they drop and at the very least you’ll need to break the shield twice.
In a public lobby where players are not aware of the 15 Headless One cap, it is very possible that they will want to beat the boss as quickly as possible and go about their day. When that happens, you can either try to go for kills 13-14 and that’s about it. But those in the know will hesitate to kill the boss. Hopefully, that’s what your lobby looks like every once in a while.
At the very end of the event, you should be looking at anywhere between 3 -5 event weapons. And that’s how you can farm event weapons in Destiny 2 Festival of the Lost 2022. Hope this guide helps out.
