This is your Destiny 2 Weekly Reset for December 20 2022. The second week of the Dawning event is upon us, and it seems like the last event for the year 2022 has finally been done right for the players. For us here, the event is a nice twist from the regular stuff we’ve been doing all year round. This may be a rehash of Dawning events from years past, but we’ve had more fun throwing snowballs and baking cookies than in both Solstice and Festival of the Lost combined.
This neat twist in our everyday activities. That’s all we ever wanted, really.
But apart from that, we’re also getting the new exotic quest for the Revision Zero and secret mission. We can’t wait for what’s in store very soon.
Destiny 2 Season of the Seraph Week 2 Recap
In this week’s Destiny 2 Season 19 story, the search for the subminds continues. Now that Elizabeth Bray has formally joined the search, she is very vocal about not trusting grandad Clovis or his motives. She and Anna had a fight over it. This has been a long time coming since our time learning about Stasis and the Darkness. At least, the two sisters can have some time to think about things moving forward.
But we do know one thing. Clovis only cares about looking after himself and his legacy. At this point, it’s not a question of whether or not he’ll betray us, it is only when and how.
In this week’s Ops, we enter a tear in time as we locate a submind on the surface of Mars. The Hive knows this too, so they’ve sent an advance force to slow us down. We have to give Bungie some credit here. The missions are indeed becoming to be the fun part of the season. It’s been a long time since this was the case.
Ana knows from the start trusting Clovis Bray is a last resort. He is the only one capable of putting Rasputin back together. And everyone’s going to have to bear with it until the task is complete.
Destiny Weekly Reset Time
As always, the Destiny 2 weekly reset times are 10 AM PDT for the folks on the West Coast of the US. 6 AM BST for our readers in Britain. And 2 AM JST the following day for everyone in Japan. (+1 hour for daylight savings).
Destiny 2 Weekly Activities December 20 – December 26 2022 Overview
The Dawning continues this week. If you’ve got some cookies to bake, do so and become a Star Baker for the rest of the festive season.
It’s finally here. The Deep Stone Crypt is the featured raid for this week. That means the Raid is farmable and you can have multiple shots at those sweet red border raid weapons throughout the week.
And finally, Lord Shaxx has authorized bonus ranks for Crucible activities this week.
Where is Xur? December 23 2022

Destiny 2 Featured Raid and Dungeon December 20 – December 26 2022
This week’s featured raid is the highly anticipated Deep Stone Crypt. This is our chance to farm some red border weapons… and to stop Taniks, of course.
Also, this week’s featured dungeon is Prophecy. The Nine have invited you to enter their realm where you can find an answer to the question, “What is the nature of the Darkness?”
And as usual, completing these featured content will reward you with pinnacle gear.
Deep Stone Crypt Raid Challenges
Red Rover – Done during the 1st Encounter at Crypt Security, this challenge asks all players to be operators and shoot the two panels on the lower level (This challenge requires 3 phases).
Copies of Copies – Done during the 2nd Encounter aka Atraks-1, do not send any Debuffs into airlocks/space.
Of All Trades – Done during the 3rd Encounter or Taniks Phase 1, each guardian must do all three roles (Operator, Scanner, and Suppressor). Note: Players must complete a full phase with a buff for it to count.
The Core Four – Done during the fourth 4th Encounter or Taniks Phase 2, the challenge requires the Guardians to dunk all four cores before DPS phases.
Destiny 2 King’s Fall Challenge This Week December 20 2022
The King’s Fall Challenge for the third week of Destiny 2 Season 19 will be Under Construction. Done during the Daughters of Oryx encounter, this challenge asks each member of the team to not touch the same plate twice.
