Blizzard Entertainment and Diablo Producer Rod Fergusson have confirmed some new details about Diablo IV running on Xbox consoles.
It was confirmed by Fergusson that Diablo IV would be able to play 60fps on both the Xbox Series X and S. Xbox Series X will have it on 4K resolution while the Series S will be on 1080p. Aside from that, it was also revealed that the game will not have loading screens in its open-world sections, but there is an exception. If a player enters a different large area like a dungeon, it will have a short loading screen.
While Fergusson did not confirm that the PlayStation consoles will have the same treatment, it is more or less confirmed for the PS5. Unfortunately, the PS4 will have a downgrade if we are going to follow the logic here. After several server changes and feedback from the fans after the beta test, these are now the results.
Diablo IV launches June 6, 2023 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
