Get ready to welcome a whirlwind of sass and style to your Disney Dreamlight Valley. Daisy Duck, Donald’s feisty and fashionable sweetheart, is ready to join your village. In the recent Thrills and Frills update, Daisy is one of the most recent addition to the game’s character roster.
In this guide, I will show you how to complete the You Have Mail quest and unlock Daisy Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
How to Unlock Daisy Duck in Disney Dreamlight Valley
To unlock Daisy Duck, you’ll need to have a conversation with Mickey Mouse to start the You Have Mail quest to bring Daisy to the Valley. Mickey Mouse will express excitement about having received a letter in a purple envelope indicating Daisy’s return and will ask for your help in getting her house ready. However, this conversation will not trigger if you do not have the Valley Visit Station in your village.
To unlock the Valley Visit Station you must have already reached friendship level 4 with Vanellope. The Valley Visits quest from Vanellope involves placing the Valley Visit Station furniture in your village. Placing the station allows you to generate codes to invite friends to join your Valley which is an important aspect on Daisy Duck’s questline. This, and having Mickey Mouse in your valley, are the only pre-requisites to unlocking Daisy Duck. You can unlock Daisy even without unlocking Minnie Mouse or Donald Duck yet.
You Have Mail quest Walkthrough
Daisy Duck can be unlocked by completing the quest “You Have Mail” given by Mickey Mouse. This quest involves several steps:
1. Build Daisy’s House
- Open your furniture menu, select Daisy’s House, and choose a lovely location for her in the Valley.
- Find Scrooge McDuck’s construction sign near the chosen spot and interact with it. Pay 20,000 gold coins to start building her home.
- After the house is built, welcome Daisy Duck at the fountain, then join her inside her house.
2. Craft the Wonderland Amplification Elixir
- Daisy will explain that before the Forgetting, there was once a place in the village where you can share your creativity and personal style called the Boutique. However, the Boutique was shrunk and hidden to protect it from the curse. Daisy wants you to restore it to its former glory by crafting the Wonderland Amplification Elixir.
- Gather the following ingredients:
- 5 Carrots (purchase seeds from Goofy’s Stall in the Peaceful Meadow)
- 3 White Daisy (pick them in the Peaceful Meadow)
- 3 Dream Shards
- 3 Topaz (mined from rock spots in the Plaza, or The Docks or The Courtyard in Eternity Isle)
- Once you have collected everything, head to a crafting station and craft the Wonderland Amplification Elixir.
3. Place and Resize the Boutique
- Go back to the miniature version of Daisy’s Boutique inside her house.
- Use the Wonderland Amplification Elixir on your inventory to apply the upgrade on your watering can.
- Water the Boutique miniature then pick it up, you’ll find it in your furniture menu.
- Place the Boutique anywhere you like in the Valley already restored in its full size.
- In the Boutique, you can add your custom Touch of Magic creations on a mannequin or furniture pedestal so visitors from other Valleys can buy it. However, do note that your creations will be visible to those who have visited your valley, in the same way you will be able to see the creatione of whose valleys you’ve visited, the devs have not yet added a privacy option for this as of this writing.
How to Complete Boutique Challenges in Disney Dreamlight Valley
Daisy will also offer Boutique Challenges, these are daily challenges centered around fashion and customization. These involve showcasing your in-game outfits, and room designs using furniture that will match the required tags just like Dreamsnaps.
After you complete the design in the Challenge Space you can win Daisy Coins that you can use to buy more customizable clothing and furniture.
Completing the first challenge will conclude the You Have Mail quest.
