The Ancient Door is the first quest to unlock Rapunzel in Disney Dreamlight Valley. Rapunzel is looking for her art supplies, and she thinks that Mother Gothel has hidden them behind the Ancient Door. Read ahead as we go through the objectives on how to complete The Ancient Door quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley.
Objectives:
Use your Hourglass to remove the Gray Floating Rocks behind the Grasslands’ waterfall
To get to the Ancient Door, you simply have to use your Royal Hourglass to remove the five Gray Floating Rocks that are blocking the door.
Talk to Rapunzel
After doing so, talk to Rapunzel once more. She will comment about the pieces of Sun Core that you just collected from the rocks. She then tells you that there are more of those floating rocks in the Plains and Docks and that maybe you can get the other pieces of the Sun Core from them.
Gather the remaining Sun Core Pieces
Travel to the Plains and the Docks and continue breaking the Gray Floating Rocks until you find the remaining two Sun Core Pieces.
Rebuild the Sun Core at a Crafting Station
Go to a crafting station and build the Sun Core using the pieces you collected.
Unlock the Ancient Door behind the waterfall in the Grasslands with the Sun Core
Head back to the Ancient Door and use the Sun Core on it. This will then open the door, granting you access to the next area.
Pass beyond the Ancient Door with Rapunzel / Talk to Rapunzel
Go through the doorway and talk to Rapunzel. She notices that the structure just up ahead appears to be a sundial that has another Sun Core. The quest will then be completed and the next quest, The Sundial, will start.
