Game company Bethesda recently announced that video games Doom Eternal and The Elder Scrolls Online will have the ability to upgrade to next-gen consoles soon.
Bethesda revealed that the two popular video games in their line up right now will be coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5. Players who have it on PlayStation 4 or Xbox One have the opportunity to upgrade the games to the next-gen variation for free respectively when those versions will be available this coming holiday season. The development teams are working hard to ensure both titles will support backwards compatibility when the new consoles launch.
The game company revealed that more information will be distributed later. It will reveal what changes have been made.
Some are even speculating that the long-time ported game Skyrim will be doing it as well. Nothing confirmed yet from Bethesda, but this could happen.
