When Wills Collide is a quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2 where Phaesus tries to find a way to delay the attacks of the dragons in the Unmoored World. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the When Wills Collide quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2.

How to unlock the When Wills Collide quest in Dragon’s Dogma 2?

The When Wills Collide quest can only be accessed upon entering the Unmoored World or the true ending of the game. Complete the first part of the Halls of the First Dawn quest, then the When Wills Collide quest will immediately start as you make your way back to Phaesus. Doing this quest will essentially lower the count of the dragons that your have to fight throughout the Unmoored World by 2.

    Follow Phaesus

Head outside Phaesus lab after reawakening your pawn from their slumber. As you make it out of the Flamebearer Palace, you will see a pillar of light. Interacting with this pillar of light by drawing your Godsbane Blade will start the A Scholarly Pursuit quest; it is recommended to do this quest as it is just short and will save you time from traveling back to Bakbattahl.

Your main objective is to head over to the Volcanic Island Camp to where you first fought Talos. Head over to where Talos’ body stands and a cutscene will play.

In this cutscene, your pawn will merge inside the head of Talos which reanimates the Gigantus. A dragon then flies down from the skies and Talos makes its way towards the dragon to fight against it. Shortly after, you will unlock the I, Talos Achievement for reawakening Talos.

The cutscene continues as the dragon attacks Talos with its flame breath. Talos retaliates with a punch, losing its arm in the process, but killing the dragon in a single blow. Just then, wyrm descends from the sky and wraps itself around Talos.

Go down the slope that you are on to get closer to the fight and trigger another cutscene. The wyrm strangles Talos’ head, but Talos manages to get hold of the wyrm’s head as well. The wyrm manages to break Talos’ head, but with its last ounce of strength, talos crushes the wyrms head and kills it. Talos’ head lands on the ground, releasing your pawn in the process.

This will then complete the quest and you will be rewarded with 15,000 XP and 32,500 G. Additionally, doing this quest will let you basically skip two dragon fights since Talos, or rather your pawn, has already taken care of them through this quest. On the other hand, skipping this quest means that you will have to defeat the two dragons shown in this quest, but you can get a lot of Wyrmslife Crystals for killing them yourself.
