Media Molecule will soon end support for Dreams. This meant the game will receive no more updates and the players will have some limited storage.

According to a post on the official website, Dreams will not receive any more updates and players will get a storage limit next month. Support for the game will now end in September 2023.

On the website, the studio explained that it has “made the difficult decision to discontinue live support for Dreams after September 1, 2023 to shift our focus to an exciting new project.”

After September 1, 2023, players can still play the game, and create and share content, but it will not receive any further updates after that. The game will also migrate to a new server this coming May 2023. This will make players have only a storage limit of 5 GB for their creations.

Do not worry though as the current creations of players will not count toward this limit. The only ones affected are those who are getting uploaded after server migration. Lastly, Dreams is not going to be pulled from sale on September 1, 2023 and will still be available to buy.

Aside from this news, Media Molecule confirmed that the next new project they are working on is not Dreams 2 or the Dreams IP. It is a whole new project.
