A seasonal event in the game has been launched today to celebrate the Halloween season. The event comes with a new challenge called Volatile Rush where this particular zombie called Volatile is super sensitive with any noise. Together with this new event are items like the Trick-or-treat potions that are helpful in combat and the Van Crane Bundle. The town also has some interested themed decorations and some spooky zombies.

The Halloween event starts on October 28, 2021 at 7 PM CEST until November 8, 2021 at 9 PM CET. It will be available on the PC and console versions of the game.

Aside from the festivities at Dying Light, Dying Light 2 Stay Human on the other hand has another video to show. It is the start of the Story from the Dying City video series and this is the first animated clip of the many. It is titled The Jonah and narrated by YouTuber Corpse Husband with his deep, dark voice.

It talks about an urban legend that has been spreading around Villedor. It talks about Jonah and the bad luck he brings. Every sailor knows him as when you are on the ship as things turn south, the wind stops blowing, ropes, break, and the food rots. That is how his bad luck spreads, like a virus that can be transmitted with a mere touch of his hand.

Dying Light 2 Stay Human launches on February 4, 2022 for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox series X/S, and Nintendo Switch via Cloud.
