In EA Play, Patrick Soderlund, the EVP of EA Worldwide Studios, announced that their latest EA Original title is from the studio behind the dramatic and emotional adventure co-op game, Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. Aside from the upcoming project by Hazelight, there are 7 new projects for EA Originals.
A Way Out is a new narrative-driven co-op split-screen game that has a lot of similarities from Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons. The trailer shows a glimpse of its gameplay which includes car chases, rooftop escapades, and gun battles. It’s a lot more mature and emotional than Brothers: A Tale of Two Sons.
According to the writer and director of A Way Out, Josef Fares, the game still features an online co-op mode; however, it is best played and experienced with a friend on the couch than online.
A Way Out will launch early 2018.
