In Elden Ring, there are five classes to choose from and all have their advantages and disadvantages. However, there is one particular class that is the most challenging one to use for any newcomer to the Souls genre.
FromSoftware Game Director Hidetaka Miyazaki reveals this most challenging class to use and what he thinks about it.
According to Miyazaki, the most challenging starting class to choose in the beginning of Elden Ring is none other than the class called the Wretch or as he likes to call it, the naked one. This class is actually describing it literally as the Wretch is almost naked and only has a weak weapon for its defense. It could, however, offer some interesting advantage that other classes will not get.
Miyazaki did say that he would like all of the players trying out this game to feel “unpressured and can approach the game at their own pace.” Players will have the freedom to choose which playstyle or route in this game, which is actually by design.
Previously, the game director mentioned that Elden Ring will be a game that will not stress their players in playing. Rather, he wants them to feel relaxed and enjoy it together.
Elden Ring launches February 25, 2022. It will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
