Glider is a quest in Enshrouded where the Blacksmith suggests to create a Glider that will help in traversing large distances of Embervale through the air. Read ahead as we go through the steps on how to complete the Glider quest in Enshrouded.
How to unlock the Glider quest
The Glider Blacksmith quest will be automatically available upon rescuing the Blacksmith and summoning him to your base. Talk to the Blacksmith about the “Glider” to initiate the quest.
Craft a Glider
Crafting a Glider can be done from the Workbench and it takes the following materials to create one:
- x8 Shroud Wood
- x2 Animal Fur
- x2 String
- x2 Shroud Spores
Shroud Wood can be obtained from chopping trees within the shrouded areas, while Shroud Spores drop from Fell enemies within the shrouded areas. Animal Fur can be obtained from hunting down wildlife. A piece of String can be crafted from x2 Plant Fiber.
After crafting a Glider, the quest will be complete and you will be rewarded with 75 XP. It is also possible to craft the Glider even before rescuing the Blacksmith, provided that you have the materials to craft one. Upon talking to the Blacksmith with the Glider on hand, you will simply complete the quest right away and get the XP reward.
The Glider can then be equipped in its own slot on your character. It can then be deployed by pressing the jump button after a single or a double jump while still in the air. Using the Glider will continuously consume stamina while gliding. Better gliders can be crafted and obtained as you progress through the game and they can cover much larger distances when deployed with enough height.
