It has been teased for two weeks that Fate Extra record will be getting official gameplay and it has. In the latest FGO/ Fate Grand Order Festival 2024 event, Type-Moon has released new info about the game, and fans will be able to see how different it is.

Fate Extra Record is an RPG game where the setting is a fictional world of spiritual particles called “SE.RA.PH.” constructed on the moon’s ocean. In search of the universal wish-granting device “Holy Grail” that can grant any wish, Masters and Servants team up to fight for survival in the “Moon Holy Grail War” that begins once again.
128 of the world’s leading hackers, each with the ability to turn their souls into spirits, are selected as Masters to participate in the Holy Grail War.
The ones they make contracts with are the souls of heroes and great men from history whose true names are concealed, and they are given seven different classes with different characteristics, such as Saber and Archer, and materialize as spiritual life forms into Servants. At the end of their joint battle, entrusting each other with their souls, their pasts, and hidden desires intertwine.
