Flowers From the Hill Walkthrough
After you get your first Chocobo mount, meet Chloe at the Chocobo Ranch in the Grasslands region. She’s looking to make a nostalgic souvenir by crafting a flower crown similar to the one her mother used and giving it to her brother. Chloe’s request marks the beginning of the “Flowers from the Hill” quest.
Head to the Wildflower Plateau
After accepting Chloe’s request, head to the marked location called Wildflower Plateau, which can be found northwest of Kalm, beneath the highway and through broken tunnels.
Before setting off, make sure you’re equipped with Fire and/or Ice Materia. These are essential for the Mandragora enemies you’ll encounter and combat during the quest.
Defeat the Mandragora Enemies
Mandragoras, which are vulnerable to attacks from Fire and Ice, protect the colorful flower fields. Given their numbers, you’ll need to make good use of your elemental Materia to combat their weaknesses. Even if you can pressure and stagger them with regular melee attacks, elemental magic will be your best option for defeating them.
Pick White, Red, and Yellow Flowers
After dealing with the Mandragoras, you’ll be tasked to pick flowers. The goal is to replicate the wreath shown in a drawing provided by Chloe. Here are the right flowers to pick:
- White Daisies
- Red Gerbera
- Yellow Calendulas
Bring the flowers back to Chloe to complete the quest and obtain your reward. If you’ve picked the right flowers, she’ll be pleased by how similar it is to her mother’s wreaths. As such, the outcome remains the same regardless of the flowers you choose.
Flowers From the Hill Quest Rewards
If you’ve picked the right flowers, she’ll be pleased by how similar it is to her mother’s wreaths, rewarding you with:
- Telluric Scriptures Vol. 1.
- 10 SP for Aerith
- 3 Pearl Ginger roots.
- 3 Sprigs of marjoram.
For completing the overall quest, you’ll be granted with:
- Improved relationship with Aerith
- 10 Party Exp.
- 400-600 Exp.
Additionally, Flowers From the Hill will likely be the first quest you can take on during the game, and completing it will earn you the FF7 Rebirth Bronze Trophy called “Entering New Markets.”
