Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition Costs More Than a Switch
The official Square Enix store has finally posted the official price for the Final Fantasy XVI Collector’s Edition for the PS5, which is quite hefty. According to the store, it costs $349.99, more than a brand-new Nintendo Switch OLED these days.

Store Exclusivity and Whatnot
Square Enix notes that this is a Store Exclusive only. The in-game item codes and digital content code will not be packed inside the collector’s edition goods box, which is something new these days. They will now release it when the game launches next year. This is possibly for preventing players from getting their hands on the game digitally ahead of the release date.
So fans of Final Fantasy games might want to save up before they want to purchase this Collector’s Edition. Pre-order here.
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
