As a way to celebrate and hype up the game before launch, Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration livestream and in-person event.
According to the latest post on the official Twitter account of the game, Square Enix will be hosting a Final Fantasy XVI Pre-Launch Celebration in-person event. The general location is Los Angeles, but it did not say where exactly. It did also say that there will be a livestream event for those who will not be able to attend on the date, June 11, 2023. It will start at 3 PM PDT.
The announcement did not say what entails of the event is, but it can be speculated that it will show more gameplay and cutscenes. We will have to wait in the coming days to know more after Square Enix shares more details.
Aside from the upcoming event, Square Enix also updated the official website of the game. It now includes more information about the story and characters in the game and the world of Valisthea. In the story section, more details about the Eikons are shared. The various kingdoms and regions in the world of Valisthea have been detailed too.
The characters have more information posted as well like information about Clive, Joshua, Jill Warrick, and the rest of the Dominants.
Final Fantasy XVI launches on June 22, 2023 exclusively on PS5.
